I love giving gifts to my loved ones throughout the year and beginning 2012 I am extending that generosity to myself. Instead of making new year resolutions (I never stick to them anyways) I will give gifts to myself. Sounds exciting, right? And so you're probably thinking that I plan to give myself the normal wishlist items like a Keurig coffee machine or a Gucci bag. Wrong! My new blog name is Santa Sexy Gunz and I'm giving the gift of healing, the gift of pursuing my hearts desire, and the gift of self love. These priceless gifts are intended to help me reconnect with my true self: a sexy, joyous, confident, & creative being.
Truth is, I'm still trying to catch my breath from some of the mind-boggling shit that turned my vision inside-out during 2011. I endured many dark days filled with confusion, self-doubt and emotional anguish. I depleted my own natural resources by sharing so much of my passion, motivation and spiritual energy with others, thus neglecting my own wants and needs. It's so easy to lose yourself in romantic relationships, work, family drama, or the chaos of city life. With so many worldly distractions it's easy to forget our soul purpose and miss out on all the jewels the universe has in store for us.
There is no going back. I just want to return within, super glue the pieces back together and give life back to me.
